I’m fairly certain momma and poppa cardinal, who live in our yard year round, had at least two babies, and brought them both to the bird feeder today.
I think we have a female baby top right.
And earlier this afternoon I think I snapped the male baby.

I love photographing the birds who visit our backyard, and once the flowers bloom, I start messing around with different ways of looking at the garden. This week, I was also experimenting with the new lens

The turkey, who we nicknamed Drumstick, hasn’t been around for a couple weeks. I hope he found his flock rather than an untimely end.

Dooney & Bourke has just released a line of Scottie themed bags and accessories. I think the large East/West Tote would make a great netbook bag. Comes in red too, but I like the crisp white.
Now I just have to budget for it. Unless the folks at Dooney & Bourke would like to send me one? I promise to take it to dog shows and BlogHer and Mom 2.0 and everywhere.
