BlogHer Mocha Momma put out the call for those attending BlogHer to introduce themselves briefly in their blogs, so here goes:

Personally: Married to David, one child Douglas age 7. Four dogs, three cats and at the moment, three 6-week old puppies.
Professionally: A refugee from corporate America where I spent 20+ years in various marketing and communications roles, I am now an independent marketing consultant.
Education: Yes. A long time ago. If you really want to know, it’s on my Facebook and LinkedIn profiles.
I breed and show Scottish Terriers.
I have two blogs, Marketing Roadmaps, which covers marketing and PR topics, and this one, which is a cross between a parenting blog and photo blog.
I finished reading Harry Potter #7 this morning. I’m not telling.

The last day of summer camp

The day camp Douglas attends every summer closes out each session with a performance by all the campers. Doug’s group performed a dance to the music of the Lion King. Note Doug’s improvisations.

For those of you jonesing for a pupdate, here is a video taken with my digital camera.You can hear the lens move, which is a bit distracting. I guess that explains why people still buy video cameras.

~~BTW, any YouTube experts out there — can you help me understand why I can’t get a preview of my video on the blog? Is it because I just left the file in raw .avi? Thanks~~ Now we see the preview. Do we know why now and not before? No. And we really don’t care 🙂
