Picking through more Comic-Con news:
Bones – Booth (David Boreanaz) will return from Afghanistan with a new girlfriend. Watch Zap2It’s interview with Boreanaz and co-star Emily Deschanel (Brennan). Here’s the teaser reel from the panel at Comic-Con:
Fringe – The panel didn’t really give too much away about the coming season, but this clip did make me appreciate actor Joshua Jackson (Peter) even more. He is one funny guy:
Movies based on comic books – Marvel brought down the house yesterday when it assembled the cast of its Avengers movie, due in 2012, onstage — Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Samuel Jackson (Nick Fury), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), plus director Joss Whedon. The casting of Mark Ruffalo (replacing Edward Norton) was the big news.
But actor Ryan Reynolds’ recitation of the Green Lantern oath earlier that day in the DC Comics panel was a close second (hat tip ScreenCrave):
